When a student submits a late assignment, it would be helpful to give the teacher a notification or to force it to change the status from 'missing' to 'submitted'

Students might submit work to teachers, but teachers have no way of knowing it has been submitted unless they go into each assignment.

    This can be done with the recently added Late/Missing Assignment Submission notification.
