Some of our teachers like to give paper tests or assignments (not on Blackbaud). However, we still must all enter our grades on Blackbaud. So at this point, to do so, we must create an entire assignment, including name, description, attached files, links, file submission, date due, etc etc. It would be much easier if there was an option such as "Gradebook column" along with assignment and assessment, in which we could just make a column that has a maximum grade and title of assignment/test.
This would be very helpful and time saving for our teachers, especially those who need to give tests that require paper and scrap paper (like mathematical formulas, which you are STILL unable to adequately add to Blackbaud assessments.) So until that is available, can we at least have an easy way to add paper assignments to our Blackbaud gradebooks?
Thank you!
This idea makes sense, but until something like this is implemented, it should be possible to create a generic assignment with no bells and whistles (except due date, which does seem to always be required, grr), and then copy it as needed to fill in the gradebook. Some of our teachers do this for class participation, and just make it a recurring assignment for every week so that they only need to "create" it one time. That's been our workaround so far.
