When adding another class to an assignment, make the default assignment publish status the same as the other classes.

Even if you are publishing an existing assignment to publish "now" or on "assigned date", if you add a new class to an assignment, the fault is "No". This is causing problems with teachers as it is yet another setting to change. Wouldn't most teachers want the default publish settings to be the same as their other classes if assigning to other sections? Why is the default "No"? (do not publish)

I actually think this is a change that was recently made, so I contacted support to be told this is how the system works. We have had this product for a very long time. We never had this problem before and now it is coming up all the time with teachers thinking an assignment added to another section is published to find that the students cannot view the assignment. Please change this. Thank you!

Assignment date and Due date are defaulting to current date when adding an existing assignment to another class. If teacher forgets to change due date, there is confusion on student part. If due date could be the max due date of the assignment as originally entered, or could force teacher to enter a due date, that would save time and confusion.
