It would be very helpful to allow the option for a system wide setting when setting up Gradebooks. We could then set a default for all teachers to have "Unselected by default" for Add to cumulative grade.

We use letter grades on assignments and each teacher currently has to remember to set the unselected by default and sometimes they forget. It is very confusing when they forget and then percentages will show up for students/parents.
