Inserted date and time fields do not update in report card template text fields.
The implication of inserting fields into a text box is that they will refresh.
When you add a text field into a report card template, you can select to insert date and time fields. Which are then locked - to the date and time they were added.
If I wanted to type the date and time, I would just do that.
