The M for missing assignment should automatically uncheck when a teacher puts a grade in that was flagged missing.

Right now, unless a teacher unchecks the Missing box you can have a student with a grade on a missing assignment and that is poor communications between teacher and parent / student. This Quality of Life improvement is on two of your competitors programs that I have used and it saves time and mistakes by just allowing teachers to focus on updating grades and not having to unflag now irrelevant statuses.

    Hi Folks -

    With today's release, this is now possible. In order to get this function working, teachers who want this behavior need to go to My Day > Assignment Center > List View > More > Preferences. From here, they can access the Evaluation tab and enable this for Incomplete and Missing.

    Agreed; our teachers are already busy so this would be a huge help and timesaver for them. The same could apply for an Incomplete assignment.

    Or, even better, when the student submits work, the missing icon goes away.
