Currently, teachers can go to their class page, click "Send Communication To," and inbox message or email all parents and/or students in a given class. If they wish to inbox message, they can also type additional group names into the recipient field and message multiple classes at once. However, when teachers try to select multiple groups and then click "send via email," it seems that only the original group's emails appear. It would be fantastic for teachers to be able to send out bulk communications to multiple groups at once rather than copying and pasting from each roster individually.
This can easily be done by using official notes.
Thanks, Jess, this is a great idea. In addition I would love to see a pop-up warning that only the first 100 emails of any group will be copied - this isn't immediately obvious when choosing "send communication to" so it's easy to lose users off the bottom of the list without realizing it.
