For reasons that are not worth exploring here, our summer programs start before our school year turns over, causing our summer term to span academic years. We've futzed with dates in the system, but the key issue is this:

Teachers can't see their upcoming classes in the Classes menu until the year turns over, even if the dates set for access to the course are different (and more expansive).

It would be fantastic if, when populating the Classes menu, classes in not just this school year, but also the next school year could be scanned (and included). I would imagine this as an opt-in sort of feature, so that schools that don't need this kind of performance hit wouldn't have to take it -- and maybe even one that we might only turn on as we get into June.
