Add running cumulative GPA to report card builder

Our school needs to be able to calculate the cumulative GPA for our Upper School students at any point in time during the school year. We cannot currently look at a senior's cumulative GPA from their 9th-10th Grade years in the system. To capture this data, we have to make 12 admin fields (1 per semester per grade; we have a summer term) and run a data import to update the field at the end of each term for their cumulative GPA at that time.


Our students need this information, especially our juniors and seniors so that they can apply for scholarships and some colleges that do early decision.

    Eric, we are currently working on fixing GPAs and ranks in Education Management after using Education Edge for decades. We have the same need, to be able to see students' cumulative GPAs across all grades. You have to run the GPA calculations after each semester, but you can display them on a transcript. If you do not already include it on your school's main transcript, you can make a simple transcript that is only visible to a subset of school personnel. When they open that transcript, they will see the cumulative GPA.
