Build Out Default Options to Allow "Quick Add" for Assignments

Currently there are many of our teachers that don't like using Blackbaud's LMS because of the excessive number of clicks required to setup each assignment. However, I think this could be solved by building out a robust default option page for assignments combined with a quick add feature that would allow a teacher to create an assignment with one or two clicks using the default options they have setup previously.


For most teachers, they find a rhythm of what settings they want for an assignment and I'm sure they would be happier to tweak settings after the assignments are setup rather than needing to do this in detail with each assignment. Connected with this, it would be great if I could setup some school wide defaults so that I could assist teachers with our recommended settings (that they could override).

    Hey there -

    This can be done to an extent using the Preferences settings, although they are not all encompassing. To access these, go to the Assignment Center in the Faculty Persona and click the More menu. From there, you can access preferences which will allow you to default some settings for assignments.


    We're planning on making that screen more robust as time goes on. We know saving teachers even a single click is highly valuable, so we want to continue to build out those default preferences in the future.
