We tell students to add an an alternate course for just a few upper-level science courses, but it would be nice to have it required. Ideally, if the student selects a course that requires an alternate, an notice will appear below the course in the list of requested courses on the right side.

There should be an option to specify an action in the Exceptions to Communicate section on the configuration page.

It would be very helpful to allow the school to specify the number of alternative courses. I am not sure how it would work but we dont require the same number of alternative courses for every department. Maybe this could option could be added to the Course Requests tab when creating a course similar to Pre-Reqs that you can enter.

This would be a huge help to us!
