Currently, the "A" (absent when assigned/due) indicator doesn't show up on the assignment detail page. Other Gradebook indicator notations such as "Late", "Excused", or the submitted indicators do show up on the assignment detail page. Many of our teachers exclusively grade from the assignment detail pages since assignments are submitted digitally. I've included an example of a student who was absent when this assignment was due and the area where the "A" notation should show.
