When viewing and creating assignments, I find the Gradebook view much more useful than the overwhelming Assignment Center, where all classes are mashed together. When I create new assignments, I usually do it from Gradebook. It would be nice if the "More" dropdown menu on the Gradebook included the option to import assignments, so that action can be performed without having to navigate to Assignment Center first.
