When a grading period ends, the grade book rolls over to the next period (quarter, trimester, semester etc.) by default. Many of our teachers are still working on grading assignments for the previous period. When they open the grade book, they have to take an extra step to select the previous period. It would be nice if teachers had the ability to select which grading period their grade book defaults to within settings.
