In Inbox Messages there is no From field displaying who the message is from in the preview. If someone doesn't have a picture uploaded (many in our system) and/or doesn't sign the message it is impossible to tell who the message is from in the preview. Even upon opening the message, the name simply displays at the top without any other indicators (e.g. no text saying "From:"). For new users, it is confusing to say the least ("Is this who the message is addressed to? Is this part of the message?"). Would love to have a way to change the default format for Inbox Messages to display a "From:" field at the top of the message that actually says "From:" and/or somehow set apart from the rest of the message (bolded, etc.).
It would be even greater to add features so that Platform Managers can set/change the default format of Inbox Messages (fields to display, etc.). But simply having a more simple text-based display should be an easy first step
Adding to this: simply looking at any email service would tell you how the default messages would ideally be displayed (To: (list recipients) From: (list sender) Subject:...) Using these rudimentary/simple categories in text (rather than or in addition to attempting to achieve this via formatting and pictures/thumbnails) would clear a lot confusion
