We are in the second semester, and if parents/students are looking for assignments from the current semester, they have to search through the assignments list in the Assignments tab for a class or the Assignment Center for second semester assignments. It would be nice to have a button at the top for each semester at the top of the assignments tab for a class (similar to how students/parents see the semester buttons at the top of the Progress tab - see attached file - Semester buttons.png). I know students and parents can go into the class > Assignments tab and enter a date range under Date View, but that date range does not save, so students and parents will have to input it each time (see attached file - Date View Date Range.png).

I also checked the Assignment Center - there isn't a way to display assignments from the current semester (no date range).
