There needs to be an email notification that is sent to faculty when assignments are submitted by the student (not just late assignments). Our instructors are not always checking to see what assignments are submitted versus not submitted plus students work at different paces, so the due date piece does not work for our purposes.

The email notification does not need to be for each assignment submitted, but simply a report of each assignment and which students have submitted their work for that assignment. This would allow instructors to easily navigate to the item and use the report as a checklist of shorts to grade assignments.
