Currently, if you go to Academics > Grades > Grading setup > Gradebook settings > and edit a Marking Period's Grade Access, you can either choose to "Set access globally" or "Have teachers set access." If you select "Set access globally," the options are "Hide," "Always show," or "Show only during these dates" for "Assignment grades," "Assignment comments," "Marking period cumulative gradebook grades," and "School year cumulative gradebook grades."

We would like the ability to globally set the access to Assignment grades and Assignment comments, but allow teachers to decide whether or not they want to publish their cumulative grades (it is certainly possible other schools would want to do the reverse of this, or some other permutation). In order to accomplish this, it would be nice if an "Allow teachers to set" option was added to the existing drop downs.
