Sharing Content Between Courses

I would like for teachers to be able to easily share content between courses (downloads, news, etc.). Currently teachers can share assignments, but not topics or content from the bulletin board.

    I think there is a workaround for this, but you have to manually set it up each year. In On Campus/People/Course Content Editor Access, you set up teams of people that can share page content and select exactly which content they can share. The only exception is Text. It's an option to share, but it doesn;t work.
