The default for drop box files should be 1, not 0. If you are enabling drop box you will never expect to get zero files. It's one extra step for faculty, this would make this process more efficient.

If you are enabling drop box you will never expect to get zero files. Clicking the drop down is one extra step for faculty, and if they forget then students can't download their homework, which frustrates them. Having the default as 1 benefits everyone.
