Dropbox Submit Assignment Button on Student View Very confusing...

In Assignments, students expect to click on the Submit or Overdue button to attach a file, but clicking the button does nothing.

We’ve had a few missed assignments because clicking into the title just isn’t intuitive. Can you please update this so students can click into the submission window from the obvious looking button?

    Hi There!

    I do believe we resolved this issue with our Assignment Center improvements in the Summer of 2017. My apologies for missing this idea and not closing it out sooner. 

    We separated out actions from status in the Assignment Center for students. 

    Let me know though if your student's are still confused.

    Faculty wants to be able to click "S" in gradebook and be linked to the assignment. This was an idea that was merged and "implemented". But it was not implemented. It was merged to this idea and should have remained a separate request.

    Agree. This is especially confusing because students *do* click on the button for non-dropbox assignments. Seems strangely inconsistent.
