Teachers are requesting to be able to copy assignments and then modify them to create a new assignment so they do not have to start from scratch every single time. This would be similar to the copy button when adding in events.
Thanks for your votes and comments! I'm happy to share this is now live for assignments, assessments, and discussions. In list view, simply click an assignment's context menu to Make a copy. A copy is created with "Copy of" in the title and the publish status set to No so you can make edits before the assignment is viewable.
Hi all! We're considering this idea and would love your feedback to inform our direction. If you're willing to connect for a chat with us, please email at ben.leddy@blackbaud.me. Thanks!
Doesn't this feature basically already exist by clicking on "Add Existing" on the top of the add assignment window? This allows you to copy an old assignment and make any necessary changes.

Copy! Copy! Copy! Please reinstall this feature.

COPY! COPY!!! COPY!
The option to COPY vs. IMPORT was much easier for teachers.
This is a VERY important feature that Blackbaud is lacking. My teachers need this!
Please bring this back!
Faculty miss the copy button. Not intuitive to have to import from the same year to make a copy. Please bring the Copy button back.
