Hi There,
We recently updated our annotation tool to improve the annotation experience and add support to additional file types.
Let me know though if the iPad experience still isn't up to snuff. (do people still say "up to snuff"? :)
Thanks!
Jackie
Hello Everyone! Happy to announce that with this most recent release, annotating on iPads should be a much smoother experience! If you are still running into issues or have some feedback on the tool, feel free to reach out to me at michael.morrissette@blackbaud.com
Unfortunately, this feature is very limited and does not allow for written annotations using a stylus (iPad or surface).
This feature is very cumbersome - to the point of not worth using. Please create an app for Blackbaud LMS so that the Google Assignments integration feature will work with Ipad and the Apple Pencil just like in the Google Classroom App. Without this feature, our teachers will still be using two platforms (and preferring the more user friendly Google product).
As far as I can tell, this doesn't work anywhere near well enough. Drawing just doesn't work..
I have never been able to get this to work beyond a straight line iPad.
I do not understand why it is not possible on BlackBaud when it is so easy to do in Google Classroom and can use color. I am forced to use the comment feature to grade and give feedback, ,which means that the assignment closes and is not visible when I am making comments so I must switch back and forth several times in each assignment.
Thank you for allowing us to annotate on the iPad! I checked it out today and there are still some issues I think to work out. The constant asking us to save or delete, even after typing one letter of a word is a hassle. Can something be done about that? Perhaps just let us draw and if we want to tab the item later we could have the option to delete it, instead of having to save or delete after every stylus stroke? It is very difficult to move around the document once you start annotating. I'd think if we use a two finger swipe or something, it should let us scroll without trying to add more text or select something that we have already marked on the page. It would also be amazing if we could choose colors and have a highlight tool. I love that you are adding new capabilities and allowing us to give input. Thank you.
We need the ability to annotate assignments by writing/drawing on the ipad just like we can on a laptop.

Please work on this as soon as possible! Our school is an AWESOME school who just adopted Blackbaud. We really like it so far, but not having this feature on iPads is very difficult for our students. Please update!
My school needs this function. We just switched from ebackpack, and we thought Oncampus had this feature. Please add it soon.
I would like this feature.
Annotation on the iPad is absolutely necessary to be able to have a digital/paperless classroom. This tool is essential for circling, underlining, and all grammar correction symbols. In the meantime it is easier to grade documents on paper but that is not why we have this LMS.

This LMS is in need of an update that allows teachers the convenience of annotating on an iPad.
I want to be able to annotate assignments on iPads.
An oversight in the development of On Campus that should be corrected.
This is a feature that would make ON a more complete package not needing to interface or go outside to other applications such as Notability.
