To echo many others' sentiments here, joining groups is a major hurdle for the majority of our parents. The process is not intuitive and takes many clicks. I know this must be coming off the bridge very soon, and we have a great idea while you are developing the new interface.

ENH. REQ: How awesome would it be if the Bulletin Board page of every community group (given proper access, of course), would have a 'Join' button right on it?! We could send direct links to the page(s), and parents could join with just 2 clicks, the first on the link, the second on the 'Join' button. Our workaround has been to make certain groups 'Smart Groups', which is its own imperfect solution...
