Please Reinstate the Message Board for Community Pages

Our students are using email to communicate announcements, event details, and for general discussion. What's lacking is a message/discussion board that's visible within the Bulletin Board to help facilitate student discussion. One possible solution is allowing Topics to be embedded into the Bulletin Board in order to make the Topics Discussion feature more visible. Another solution would be to reinstate the message board category that was available prior to the redesign of the community groups. A third option would be to allow changing the landing page of a community group so Topics are more visible. We have been experimenting with embedded google groups to allow this functionality but it would be nice to manage this in one place.

Our student council would love to use a message board as a way for students to connect with one another, though without the ability to include a discussion board on a community group page we're left without a straightforward path to support their wishes.

We would like to see this change as well but please build in a notification system where a person is notified when someone posts or responds to their post. It would be the best way to foster a community discussion. People can opt out of these notifications, but it would make the discussion board useful and prevent members from missing important communication.

There used to be a message board on community group pages? Wow!! That would be a fantastic feature. Please bring it back! Currently our parents have to use Facebook groups for this, which is inconvenient, since not everyone uses Facebook. Thanks!
