We would love to be able to connect to existing programs outside of the On Products, much like google drive is now an option. Programs such as SoftChalk (online lesson tool), Digital textbooks from publishers such as Pearson, Khan Academy, etc. It is my understanding that achieving LTI compliance will allow the On Products to "talk" to these other tools.
There are SOME LTI's but not the full list above
I don't get why this says "implemented". Do they mean that there is oneroster export now? This is not the same as an LTI integration that manages grade passback, live rosters etc.
Jackie, Can you speak to LTI Compliance as it relates to SoftChalk?
Hi There,
Super exciting news! We are starting our LTI and TurnItIn EAPs this month! The plan right now is for all onCampus Full Edition Schools to get the new Learning Tools manager task for enabling LTI tools on Topics this summer - so in time for the 2016/2017 school year.
Thanks!
Jackie
Any updates on this?
Please advise
Hi Andy,
I'm with you! The vision is for onCampus to be a digital learning platform where you can plug and play with LTI provider tools. Coding is actually in progress and we're getting close to submitting what we've done to IMS Global to get the big stamp of approval. Stay tuned!
Thanks for the feedback!
Jackie
Should Actually Read LTI compliance.
