Ability to Have Notifications Sent to Students when Their Assignments are Received

Add notification for Assignment submitted to send to students when they have submitted a assignment so the student knows the assignment was received.

    Essays take longer to grade.  The assignment status shows that the essay is late/missing when in fact it just hasn't been graded yet.  The ability for the teacher to indicate on the assignment status that it was received would be helpful.
