Assessment

Teachers are having difficulty with the drag and drop of the Assessment items. It is not dropping them in the correct order. Is there a way to have a button vs drag and drop

    Hi Folks -

Happy to report that this is now possible with the new assessment experience.

Following up from my 2018 comment this is still an issue today. Our teachers are beginning to utilize Google Classroom much more for quizzes and assessments due to the extreme frustration with the drag and drop problems with Assessments. Please fix!! Thank you.

This is still an issue. It's is fairly difficult to drop a question in without the other questions/screen jumping around.

You could also enable the copy/paste shortcuts that would automatically "paste" the type of question you copy into the next open slot.

This is still a huge problem today.

The problem is that, whenever you add a question and try to drop it, whole screen jumps around a lot and you can't see where the question is being dropped.  The new blank question gets dropped somewhere in a random order.  You then have to go find it and drag it to wherever you wanted it in the first place.

If you are using a mouse vs the trackpad on a laptop, sometimes it is easier to drop it in place, but definitely takes some skill.

This is also a problem in the Admissions Application and Inquiry build. When you drag and drop a field, the screen scrolls up and brings you all the way to the bottom and then you have to scroll to get back to where you were working and see if the field actually dropped where it was suppose to.
