Limit Assignments in Assignment view to current quarter

It's overwhelming to see every assignment from the entire year when looking for assignments that kids have uploaded. Restricting view or having a button that will refine a search for assignments would make it easier.

    Please make it an automatic default to only view past assignments inside of the current quarter.  This seems like a no-brainer!!

    Having a marking period filter does not seem like a very big ask. I think this would be useful feature for teachers and makes total sense.

    I agree. Our school is on the semester system and it seems that the assignment view could be tied to our years and terms. Once the first semester has ended the assignment tab of a class should only show those for the current semester. It's very frustrating to have to click "Show More" to view the current assignments now that we're in the second semester.
