Event notification for an added calendar event

It would be helpful to have the ability to add a notification when an event is added to calendar.

    YES!! This would be a great feature.  We currently have an activities calendar that will reserve rooms for faculty and staff and we would like to notifiy them once it is confirmed.  Please let us know as soon as it is implemented.  Thanks!
