The headline field in Announcements has a 255 character limit. Previously, the system would prevent the user from entering additional characters. Now the system will let the user type over 255 characters and save. When the user goes back to edit the post, the headline has been truncated to 255 characters. I request that you correct this issue with either a character counter, like twitter, or please go back to blocking character entry at 255.
