There are 5 different gift types hard wired into the OnMessage giving form (gift, pledge, pledge payment, stock, other) and gift type is available as an option for confirmation notifications, but when sending an administration notification you are unable to include gift type as a placeholder. This makes things very confusing for those who receive notifications in our office but do not have access to the actual gift forms within OnMessage, as they are unable to tell the difference between a gift, pledge, or gift in kind until it is entered into a gift batch later on.
