Force-check 'E-mail' to Student and/or Parents as a Default by Admin
We are doing remote virtual classes currently, and while Messages is great, teachers are requesting that Messages be sent automatically to student's emails so there is no question they received material from teacher.
There is a misconception by faculty that messages go to users' email. Since our parents and students don't update their profiles properly, the messages are simply trapped in the Message inbox at the top of the screen. Please allow a global setting to force messages to email!
If I could vote for this multiple times I would! While I love almost everything about Blackbaud the lack of this feature drives my teachers crazy.
