When I post a photo to my front-end onMessage website, I would like the ability to have a user click on a thumbnail version and bring up a lightbox to show the larger version of the photo.
This would be very useful for news story detail pages as well as other areas. There should be an option to turn it on or off based on the settings for the photo/album.
I do think our podium website had this functionality. Really woudl like to see it in On Message
How can this not be already implemented, Podium had this feature years ago, and people want to see the full res images for downloading.
It's been under consideration for 3 years.
Is this feature ever going to be available? It's a handicap to UX - we have content that would be helpful for prospects to view in larger resolution.
Lightboxes in onCampus (and onMessage) should also allow the ability to zoom in as far as the user chooses.
option to download is also important!
I thought I was doing something wrong with our images when I went to view the images we attached to the News articles. A lightbox or popup that allows the reader to view the larger and/or full size images would be ideal.
Agreed! We'd love the ability for users to view full-res photos we attach to news stories.
I totally agree!
Agree 100% Lightboxes are now standard on most website. This is a major step backwards...
The zoom feature would be useful in other instances beyond news detail pages. For example, a jpeg of a newspaper clipping would be readable if one could click to zoom.
