Copying a Custom Form

I would like to be able to copy custom forms so that we do not need to rebuild similar forms each time.

    Admin response

This idea was implemented today.  It was the number 4 item for onMessage with over 100 votes.  Look for the Copy Form link when editing the form or the form category.

Look for this very soon.  I will update everyone when it gets pushed out.

Wondering why this idea isn't getting much traction: copy seems like a straightforward function to program (especially as it's elsewhere already in the system). Of course, I know that's not always the case, but an update as to why this highly voted idea isn't getting traction would be appreciated.

So many hours wasted recreating these forms when a simple "copy" function would suffice.

Please do this!  I have so many optional forms for parents that I can't use school forms for because they are required - and I have to recreate them every time!

      Yes, we definitely need this!

OMG yes. And this would also get us over the hump of not being able to mass-wipe the contents of a form.... Just duplicate and delete the old one instead of manually clicking "Delete" hundreds of times.

      This would be very helpful.
