We would like an alert or message to appear on-screen when another user is editing content -- news, media galleries, pushpages -- so that we do not overwrite one another's work. Alternatively, it could be helpful to not allow a second user to edit content that another user has open -- perhaps an error message would appear if they tried to do this.

We have run into this issue in the past, where one person doesn't realize someone else is working on something in another office and overwrites the other person's work or has their work overwritten. This is frustrating and inefficient when the work needs to be done again.
