Links in SMS text notifications should be shortened.

Long links in SMS text notifications can break across two messages, making it impossible to follow the link from a text message. Can we shorten these links to something that's likelier to fit in on SMS message?

Same problem. Makes the notifications useless and angers our parents. Not only can't they even tell which course or group its coming from, they then can't get to it. This should definitely be made a priority. How do we roll out a solution like this?

Yes, same problem. here.  Just had angry parents say they didn't get the entirety of a "school closure" notification due to this.  Need to be fixed.

I've had these same parent complaints and the fact that the message does not say which teacher it is coming from.

This is a recurring issue for us. We continually push parents to sign up for notifications, but they are essentially useless as the break across two messages with an inability to actually click on a link to get more details.

Still experiencing issues with the long url on iphones and this seems like this would be a good solution to this issue.

They should also fix the AT&T address so they use MMS and SMS. That way the message won't paginate and break the log in link
