As it is, parents can simply not respond to a School Form, but then the school doesn't know for sure that either the student will not participate or that the parents actually saw the form. A record of "not participating" would be useful. In the specific form I have, there is a payment, so this further complicates things: if a parent has started the form and then decides that the student won't attend the activity, the form can't be completed without payment. A choice to not participate that removes the payment requirement to complete would be handy. (And would remove the insistent yellow form notification banner before the form expires!)
