In the options for who can see medical information for a school form, allow only certain roles to have access to see the data. Right now it is locked down so we cannot select the roles, they are just all given.
The best option would be to make this question optional on the Medical School Forms and have the school set the default publish option (so confusing to teachers when they can see the allergy information for one student but not another, just because the parents didn't pay attention when filling out the form).
If that's not possible, please let us customize the list of roles that appear. We have several cloned employee roles (such as Board Member, Volunteer, PTA, etc) and it makes it very awkward for parents to see those listed as potential people who could have access to their child's medical information.
Agreed. Either allow us to edit the list or make the field not required. We all know the nurse can see the form but parents do not necessarily understand that and want to select for Nurse to view. And in some cases, they want ONLY the nurse to see the data.
This is yet another example of the over-prescriptive nature of your medical forms. What if parents don't want anyone to see this medical information other than the school nurse? There is no option to completely remove this question, or at least provide an "N/A" in this field if noone else but nurse.
Can you fix the text so it is NOT so confusing. It now says "To restrict further" and all are checked which seems to imply these are restricted further. But the opposite is true, UNCHECKED = restrict further. This should be fixed so label reads "Restricted from" and blank = no restriction and check = restriction.
I agree with this, I think this should be high priority! We would want the option to either hide the "Who Needs to See This" field altogether and/or allow the roles that appear in the drop-down to be customized. Additionally, it forces a parent to choose at least something... they don't have the option to check "None"
We would like to be able to default check Teacher, non teaching staff and coach instead of the parents having to check. Also allow us to remove options like dorm group manager from the list. It is confusing to parents.
Similarly, would like to set default presented to parent, with respect to selected or not. It currently is opposite of what Nurse sees, when adding an allergy etc. It is all unselected for parent, and our strong recommendation is that all be selected by parent. They have tended to just check Coach, and not Teacher etc.
If this is because of some HIPAA or similar guideline, we really need it to be more flexible for us.

Please add a "Nurse/Medical Team only" field or allow a customizable menu.
