Attendance button indicating attendance taken in new design

The attendance button used to turn green when attendance was taken prior to the summer 2017 design update, can we get this feature back please?  it is helpful to teachers as a visual reference that they've taken attendance...

    This is a bug that we are addressing in the August release (8/23).

    Yes please!  Attendance is one of the most important functions teachers perform and they need that visual confirmation that it was successfully submitted.  And, I was told we could turn on the new feature of allowing teachers to edit attendance and we don't want them to do that.  They told me they are looking into this for a fix to be pushed out soon.
