It would be great if the systems was able to send teachers a notification if a students was dropped or added to their class, or if they have a pending enrollment change. This would save counselors/schedulers time since they wouldn't have to send a separate email notifying them of schedule changes. It would help the teachers so they are aware of changes as they happen and can plan for the exit of the existing student or entrance of a new student.
Flagging new enrollments in roster-ish places (e.g. the roster, the gradebook) and maybe having a sub-list of recently departed students in those same places would be fantastic.

I'd expand that to include notifications to teachers/directors of a specific grade when new students are enrolled.
