Revised Schedules need to incoporate attendance of record

I would like for the "Attendance of Record" to be recorded for any course which is slotted into the "Attendance of Record" hour of the day.  When we have a revised or altered schedule and the normal courses are replaced, the attendance will not record.  So what would ever be the purpose of having a Special Day  Schedule if you can not have attendance recording? Please consider making the "Attendance of Record" be associated with the time of day rather than the "normal courses" during the official attendance hour.

If there is a min attendance requirement, and the parents think they are ok because the absence count isn't high, but all of a sudden the student's ability to graduate to the next grade is in jeopardy because the absences on special days were not counted, that leads to much trouble for everyone.

Yes, I agree. It's weird and looks bad explaining to parents why the totals are off when they can see it every day.

Yes. We our attendance is audited every year due to the collection of state scholarship funds. We need to ensure the accuracy of all our attendance; which includes absences that occur on special schedule days.

Yes, special schedule days are problematic; the attendance list does not calibrate properly. I would like to see is feature improved.
