Need to be able to record alternate grades (i.e., Pass) and be able to enter numeric grades.

Recently code was released to allow grading managers to add alternate grades, such as Pass or WP, to the standard grade translation table. However, in order for it to work correctly, the Translate on Input flag MUST be set on the Grade Category. That will require teachers to also select a translated grade from a drop-down (i.e., B+), rather than allow them to enter a numeric grade, which may not be the desirable method of grading.

We very much need this. Our teachers enter grades numerically to two decimal points, but there are times that we need to use alternate grades. We cannot deal with dropdowns for numerical grade entry, but the only other workaround is using some absurdly high number (200, for example) as a placeholder for the alternate grade, which will throw off any formulas and grade calculations.
