When running a report looking for students struggling in classes (Ds and Fs) the dropped classes continue to appear on the Gradebook Grades List. This is confusing and only those with the knowledge of who has dropped classes will know the student isn't really failing a class.
Came to the idea bank to specifically post this idea and see that it has already been posted in 2019. We run the Gradebook Grades List weekly to pull current cumulative grades so that we can identify students performing below set thresholds for academics and athletic eligibility. It is confusing when an unsatisfactory cumulative grade gets exported which triggers intervention only to learn that the student already dropped the class and that it really isn't a 'current' cumulative grade. We really need the ability to filter out students who dropped the class from showing on the Gradebook Grades List.
This would be incredibly helpful. As we're checking on grades towards the end of the school year it really muddies the process for administrators to check on at-risk students.
This would be incredibly helpful. We are a large school and our high school students go through a lot of schedule changes, it's a challenge for our advisors to sort out which classes are current and which classes aren't.
