We have transitioned to Blackbaud from a system where attendance was integrated with the medical application. When we documented on a student, there attendance status was updated to show them in our office. Teachers could see that and excuse the class absence. It is frustrating to manage documentation in two realms throughout the day.

Apologies if this is already covered, but I'd like to see the ability to arbitrarily group the class roster. Remoteness would be one option.

Last year, we had four different cohorts. One for kids who should be in on day A, one for kids due on day B, etc.

So in order for the teachers taking attendance to make sense of who should be physically in then, we had to actually prefix the names with "A_", "B_", etc., which was very difficult.

Just wondering if there's been any movement on this. Would still be a great feature.

As a follow up point, it would be great if we could select multiple fields with check boxes that we want to show up on the class roster list. For example we have two custom fields (Group and At CBA Every Day?) we made that we would like to have show up on the Roster tab. The Group field is used to show whether a student is Group 1 Lasallians Hybrid, Group 1 Lasallians Fully Remote, Group 2 Brothers Hybrid, or Group 2 Brothers Fully Remote. The At CBA Every Day? field is used to show "No", or "Yes Every Day" (for those Hybrid students who on the day when they should be working remotely from their own house are instead coming into the school building and working remotely from the Library for extra academic help.

Similar to LP that shows on the contact, roster, & gradebook. ASAP

It would be great if the school program field could be included on the roster - that shows on the contact card and is where we designate online or inperson for the student learning mode. OR maybe we could choose what fields move over to the roster!

I second this being visible for teachers on attendance and grade book screens.

How did you text over the photo?

We put a text label across the kids photos so that it's visible in the attendance roster. Seems to be working.

We set up a custom field to track this, but that can only be displayed on the contact card. For a teacher to get to the contact card to check this for each student, it is a bunch of clicks and is very cumbersome. Being able to denote this on the attendance roster and in the grade book would be phenomenal and save our teachers so much time.

This should be visible in the gradebook and attendance roster also.

My school is extremely interested in having something display on the Roster tab of a class or in a course roster report without having to go to the Contact Card or student profile.

This feature would be very useful

YES! So many schools are going to struggle with this. Attendance would be great too - would love to have a count of those who are engaged with learning - either remote or on campus, as well as a true count of on campus in case of emergency.

PLEASE, please consider this feature! It would be a great addition.

Agree 100% that this feature would be beneficial. We have both board and day students, so that option doesn't work for us.
