Report for Attendance of Record that includes totals by Grade and Type
Under Analysis>Reports, the existing reports that pull Attendance of Record (cited here: https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/105668 ) are all very granular, either filled with rows of student names, and/or course names. We would like the ability to have a high-level summary to describe:
On a given day, the total attendance of record, by grade level, for each type: Absence, Tardy, Virtual, with the individual students for each grade level and their attendance of record for that day (other than present) listed under each.
When investigating a custom report (advanced list) for this, the option was also unavailable for want of additional filter objects as detailed here: https://blackbaudk12.ideas.aha.io/ideas/K12OC-I-2585
Please help make this report possible without extensive exporting/data massaging, as we use this information daily.

We could use a report that tells the total number of absences of each type per terms - very high summary level, used to report daily student attendance percentage for the year (e.g. 96.5% of our student body were in attendance for the year).

This would be helpful with my organization as well. A suggestion would be to add attendance analytics to the Analysis section. Creating a dashboard there would give a perfect high level summary and allow us to customize the dashboard as a chart, graph, etc. The suggestion above can work to but it looks like Analysis tool is the direction things are going. Blackbaud staff, thoughts?
