Currently, the alternate requests are listed alphabetically below the main request. The scheduler has to load a separate screen and edit into the student requests from the Requests and Recommendations list to see the order they were requested in. Ordering them correctly in Edit student enrollment screen would greatly improve the usability when making manual student schedule adjustments.
If you sort the edit student enrollment by course preference order the alternates are in preference order. If you sort by block the alternates are in alpha order. The sorting of the actual courses should not impact the preference order of the alternates. Otherwise there is room for error in selecting an alternate or one needs to have two screens open.
Yes, please! The alternative is that I have to have the Edit Student Enrollment screen open on one monitor, and the Student Requests screen open on another monitor so that I know what order the student entered the requests. That's so awkward and error-prone. Thank you!
