While some teachers benefit from the vision and capabilities of the new "Commit Grades" feature, there are some who do not. Those teachers experience the "commit grades" button as a meaningless additional click in their grading process.

One way to seek a middleground that works for all-users is to add a gradebook setting to instantly commit assignment grades the moment they are entered. This would enable teachers who do not benefit from the vision of the current "commit grades" feature to reclaim those additional clicks this change requires of them.
