John - I agree, although more from a standpoint of consistency, which is greatly lacking across the entire system. These little things add up to a lack of cohesive feel for the users, who are often low-tech and high-stress. Each tiny little diversion from norms contributes to the overall pushback we get and the general impression that the tool is sub-par. This impression makes my job (increasing adoption and understanding) substantially harder.
