Fix the Reports that have an em dash (–) in their name

You might think this is a silly issue, but in reality, it has a negative impact on functionality. There are some Reports, 5 to be exact, that have an em dash (–) in their name instead of a dash (-). Like I said, you might think this is silly, but it's not.

If you search for "Grades - by" in Reporting > Reports, you should see 5 in your search results. Instead, only 3 reports will show up. Now, go search for "Grades – by" using an em dash instead of a dash. Now, you will find those 2 additional reports. This is because the have an em dash instead of a regular dash. In total, there are 5 reports that have an em dash in them, and if you're searching for them, you have to know to use that symbol instead of the regular dash.

And here's the good part.

When I sent this in as an issue, the Internal Team said: "The team advised that these 5 reports are considered older reports in the system, and at this time we do not plan on making any changes to these reports/report names. This would be considered an enhancement request for our developers. If you would like you can share your thoughts in the idea portal here for the developers to see and consider in future updates."

So these are older reports that are going to stay in the system with a character in them that renders them unsearchable to the common user. Good one.

These are the 5 reports that need to be fixed:

Attendance Summary – By Teacher

Grade Book Printout – By Teacher

Formulas – By Grade Plan

Grades – By Course and Teacher

Grades – By Student

P.S. In the time it took the Internal Team to write up and send in their response, they could've just fixed the report names.
